Ashley M. Martin is the embodiment of service, professionalism, and divine compassion. Absolutely inspired and led by God, Ashley M. Martin exceeds outstanding service as she has a genuine desire to be there for the people and make the community a better place. Her impactful service and connection to the community has been key to the success of Kirkland Funeral and Cremation Services.

Ashley M. Martin was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and attended Mid-America College of Funeral Service where she graduated  and took the oath in 2007. With over 10 years of experience as a director and embalmer, her experience and dedicated service shines through in every opportunity she has to serve. In 2018, Ashley M. Martin had the privilege and honor of serving on the late Queen Aretha Franklin’s funeral in Detroit, Michigan and she noticed that she was the only female funeral director from the state of Indiana to attend. However, what caught her eye were the other women directors from other states and how phenomenal they were in every way. She knew she embodied those same gifts and came back to Indiana with a renewed passion to own her own funeral home. She wanted to do her part to help her community and offer a more compassionate option when it comes to funeral service. Just one year later, Ashley M. Martin founded Kirkland Funeral and Cremation Services in Indianapolis, IN.

As the business grows and prospers, Kirkland Funeral and Cremation Services will be a household name not only in funeral service but also the community in which she serves and lives in. Kirkland Funeral and Cremation Service is here to listen to the needs of the community and be of service in any way the business can help. We have regular open houses so you can get more information on the services we have to offer but also so we can hear how we can offer our support. Ultimately, Kirkland Funeral and Cremation Services will assist in providing scholarships for the less fortunate and helping people interested in learning the funeral service trade. Ashley M. Martin has been active in many community service organizations and her impact has inspired many.

Ashley M. Martin opened the doors of Kirkland Funeral and Cremation Services in November 2019 pledging to provide outstanding service to all families that entrust her to take care of their loved one. Kirkland Funeral and Cremation Services will become a staple in the community, providing excellent and compassionate service with integrity and utmost honor and respect. Ashley M. Martin is a phenomenal woman in the field of Mortuary Science, consistently raising the level of service and support to her community.
